Lum Wei Young (Foil)

Hi there! I am Wei Young, and I'm a Foil coach here in Champions' Forge. I've always had a passion for teaching and helping people achieve what they want, whether it is to have fun learning a new sport, or to participate and win at a competitive level. 
 

I have been fencing since 6 years old, and competed since I was 10. I won my first medal at 7, as well as competed nationally and internationally. I also entered Hwa Chong Institution through Direct School Admissions with Fencing, where I won medals at the National School Games and became a member of Hwa Chong Fencing's Executive Committee. 
 

As a person who loves challenges, I love this sport as it always pushes my mental and physical boundaries. Likewise, I hope to help my students improve and excel at the sport, and hopefully one day, beat me in a match.
